Private and group horse riding lessons to all ages and skill levels in English Hunter/Jumper and Western.
All lesson payments must be made BEFORE the start time of each lesson for the student to be eligible to ride. We accept Venmo, PayPal, cash, or check.
Each student must plan to arrive at least 15 - 30 minutes BEFORE their lesson time to catch, groom, and tack the horse unless otherwise stated by the instructor. The lesson will start and end at the appointed time.
Students unable to attend their lesson will still be charged in full unless a 24 HOUR advance notice of cancellation is given via call, text, or email.
A discount is given to all students who can safely catch and tack the horse without assistance or supervision. As part of the learning process the trainer will assist every student with catching and tacking the horse as part of the beginning stages of lessons. This ordinarily only takes 4 - 5 lessons. If the student is under the age of nine years old or otherwise unable to catch, groom, saddle, and bridle their horse safely and on time, we will not provide this discount until they are able to do so without assistance or supervision.
A fee applies to students who request we catch and/or tack the horse if they happen to be running late.
ASTM certified helmet required for all riders (we provide helmets to use until students purchase their own). Hard soled boots with a heel are required. Paddock boots with half chaps or tall boots are preferred.
A liability release will need to be signed before every student's first ride.
All students start out in private lessons until the instructor is comfortable that the student is ready to move to a group lesson (if available). Group lessons will consist of two to four riders. All group lessons are assigned by the instructor’s discretion. We take into consideration the age and experience of each rider to ensure the most safe and enjoyable experience.
All beginner students will start out learning to ride English, which makes it easier for students to learn Western later on if desired. Experienced Western riders may continue to ride Western or try English if they so choose.
Our hours of lesson operation are Monday through Friday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.. We are closed on weekends and all major holidays. All visitors are by appointment only.
Please pull all the way into the driveway and park on the gravel lot between the three old barns. Do not park in the grass or on the narrow driveway at any time.

Family and friends may watch a student's lesson with prior approval from the trainer. All guests must stay in the designated seating area during the duration of the lesson and not partake in coaching of any kind unless it is encouragement to the student. Guests may not be near the horses without signing our liability release.
